Tactile Fiber Club

. The concept behind this club is an exploration of the world of natural dyes. Each month will revolve around a specific dye material. Included with each shipment will be an information sheet on the featured dye and the fiber used. It will also have space for you to add un-spun and spun samples. This is a great way to learn about different breeds and natural dyestuffs.
Each month you will receive two bundles of fiber. One will be dyed solid with this monthÂ’s featured dye. The second will be a painted colorway using this monthÂ’s featured dye in combination with other dyes. We are offering a 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions. If you sign up for 6 months you will receive a 5% discount. If you sign up for 12 months you will receive a 10% discount. With the 12 month subscription you will also receive a binder to hold all of information that you will receive on the dyes and fibers.
You have a choice of two different bases: the Natural Comfort and Natural Luxury. Natural Comfort will feature wool and wool blends while Natural Luxury will be fibers that are either rarer or more exotic or both! You will also get a variety of preparations including combed top, carded roving, and fleece locks.
Natural Comfort
Explore a sampling of the many sheep breeds and blends available to handspinners. You will receive 4ozs of fiber total each month. The fiber may include, but is not limited to: Masham, Targhee, Merino-Bamboo, Gotland, Jacob, and Superwash Blue Faced Leicester.

Natural Luxury
Luscious luxurious fibers will arrive for your spinning pleasure. You will receive 2-3ozs of fiber total each month. The fiber may include, but is not limited to: Camel, Silk, Angora, Suri Alpaca, Yak, and Pygora.
Natural Luxury = $30/month (includes tax and shipping to the US and Canada*)
3 months - $90
6 months - $171 (5% discount)
12 months - $324 (10% discount)
Spots will open, on this page, every three months. Check above for the next sign-up date. If you would like to double up we will gladly send all your fiber in one box and reduce the shipping charges by $5 per month. Club will ship on or about the 20th of the month.
* International orders (outside of the US and Canada) are welcome. Contact us for shipping rates.
Club fiber colorways will be exclusive for at least 6 months and possibly forever. Due to their exclusive nature, fiber club items are not returnable.
Color Co-op
Tactile is happy to be a part of the Color Co-op, a 6 dyer club for sock yarn and fiber. Shipments are every other month and the colorway is based on member submitted artwork. If you are in the club for 6 shipments (one year), you will receive yarn or fiber from each of the participating dyers. More information can be found on the Color Co-op blog and the sign up page.
